Random Hair Q & A

CLIENT:

I have a few hair questions for you. What foods do you recommend to promote hair growth and healthier hair? Also, do you recommend any specific hair vitamins? I am transitioning back to natural hair. I look forward to hearing from you.

Ky Walker:

  • Take Biotin!
  • Foods would be beans, fish, lean meats, lots of fruits and veggies and 64oz of water a day. Less chemical and more organic is the way to go.

My healthy hair dinner

Baked Tilapia(rich in omega 6 & 3 and low in mercury), Baked Sweet Potatoes(Vitamin A,which is essential for cell growth. A deficiency can lead to dry, dull hair  and dry scalp which can flake off and turn into dandruff) and Green Beans(good source of Magnesium, Iron and Vitamin K)
